More Guest Bath Progress

I came home from Missional Community last night and found myself very motivated. I folded some laundry that has been piling up in our bedroom and then I dug out my painting clothes from the closet.

As I shared in a previous post, my goal is to complete painting the area around the shower first with the paint I have so Carl can help me install the new curved shower rod we purchased. This is me thinking ahead so the shower can still be used if our progress comes to screeching halt for any reason.

I already feel better. The pale blue
paint color always reminded me of a
hospital. The new paint reminds
me of the beach.
But we have a ways to go (literally).
I am hoping Carl will volunteer to
paint up there, because I am
not much of a fan of open heights.

While I am not really digging the price, I do like this shower curtain from Crate and Barrel. I might have to stalk this one until it is on clearance or surf the net for a substitute.

For this bathroom, I am thinking clean. fresh. simple.

We're going tile and light fixture shopping this weekend. I can't help but think I am already ahead of the game. Two months and counting.

O paint sale, paint sale wherefore art thou paint sale?
