Many thanks to our friends, Jason and Rebecca. Without Jason's help installing the new vanity in our powder room and Rebecca's willingness to let us borrow her husband for said help, the new vanity would surely continue taking up residence in our empty living room for some time to come (maybe even
years).
Jason did a remarkable job, which isn't surprising considering the wonderful work he and Rebecca have done in their own
home. I think Carl was a good helper, doing a few things here and there and making several runs to
Lowe's. He even fed Jason Nilla wafers while Jason was getting his hands dirty tearing out the old plumbing. Claire Bear delighted in supervising the two, extremely curious as to the project the guys were working on.

A sneak peak of what the vanity will look like
in the powder room. |

Check out the new faucet that doesn't
spray water everywhere like the old one did. |

Very sharp looking and lots of room for storing
cleaning and bathroom supplies. |
I considered repainting the bathroom, but so many people have told me they like the color and oddly enough the box had a picture of the vanity with a simliar looking faucet and wallcolor.
In the end, I decided to keep it the same color after all. And this wife/mama is very pleased to see that we're now out with the old and in with the new.
Thanks again, Jason and Rebecca!
Looks great! I think Jason was happy to share his knowledge, and I did some much neglected cleaning!
